My Why

I help families prepare today so they never face a financial crisis during their deepest emotional one. After 21 years of marriage, three children and a lifetime of plans, my wife Laura died suddenly. Grief erased much of that year for me, but the one thing I can still fully remember is this: because we had someone in our corner who’d helped us put the right protections in place, our home stayed ours and my children were cared for. That plan didn’t take the pain away—but it gave us the space and security to grieve without the added terror of financial collapse.

I do this work because no one should have to navigate loss while also fighting to keep their family safe.
